The Nintendo Switch lite is the new member to the switch family. As the name says it, the switch lite is a “lite” version of the original switch. Witch mean it isn't “dockable” and the joy cons can't be removed. It's a one piece unit and it plays all if not, most switch games. It's light weight and rests comfortably on your hands, the console is made out of plastic and therefore it has a “plastic-y“ feel but it doesn't feel like cheap plastic. In my eyes it is a perfect console for those who are looking for a portable console with a massive library of games that range from first to third party games with many genres. My only complaint has to be the battery life. It would have been a perfect console if the battery life lasted 8-10 hours. The Nintendo Switch lite gets a rating of 9.5/10

Santa brought the Switch for our daughter for Christmas this year and we couldn't be happier! (: Her grandparents got her a game for it in the little chip form and she has a free game that we downloaded for her as well and she seems pretty content with that selection so far. I had read reviews before we bought the Switch that people didn't like the account set up and what not but we have not had issues because we only have 1 Switch and probably only will ever have 1. Also we have not noticed any problems with the control sticks yet. That was another issue that scared us a little about this Switch. Overall, so far, i'd Say it's a great product and worth the money. Plus the color is outstanding! It's a crazy vibrant yellow like we had hoped.

I really like the switch lite. I have an original switch as well and honestly I kind of prefer the lite to the original. The lite doesn't dock and connect to the tv but I'm fine with that. I bought one because my wrists don't like supporting weight and my original switch hurt too much when using it in handheld for more than a few minutes. It's much lighter, easier to hold, and is more portable than the original due to it's slightly smaller size/lighter weight. Setting up a lite if you have a switch already can be confusing, but there are lots of tutorials online and once we got it figured out it wasn't a problem. It's a decent system. I'd recommend it if you plan on traveling a lot with it or don't care about playing on your tv.

It's used but works like brand new. They included the game and the charger, which was all I needed.

Every other place right now is gauging prices like crazy. A Switch Lite should only cost $199, but everywhere that still has them is charging between $260-$320 at the moment.

I got lucky enough to find this place selling a used SL for $169 and it was worth every penny.

The game system is light and easy to handle while still feeling sturdy. The screen shows off a super clear picture and so many details that it blows my mind to realize we've come this far with hand-held systems.

The controls respond very quickly, and I'm incredibly happy with my purchase.

Do you have ~400 for a switch without price gouging+animal crossing but America is taking a dump on you trying to be a consumer? Just get the switch lite, especially if you owned any handheld in the past and enjoyed it, you're missing out on a gimmick not a life changing feature. If you can find the actual joy in games in the games themselves, you'll be absolutely fine. If you've always had the ability to just have fun on whatever is around whether its league on a computer or a retro emulator, you really will be fine. And you'll have gathered another 350 to buy a switch at a normal price by the time the price gouging is over so you'll fully be in the ecosystem lol
